Meanwhile, web browsers like 'Mosaic' and 'Netscape' as well as search engines were being invented to make it easier to find information online. So people slowly began using Internet to get news.&lt;br /&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;Till 1999, media had been mainly just putting their traditional news stories online, adding very little original content. But now, most of the news organizations operate their independent online venture.
